I have a problem with my left foot - the second toe (beside the big toe) is covered in an itchy rash and is swollen!. My foot is also itchy but a rash hasn't developed there yet!. It's given me a limp!. Any idea what it is!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It does not sound like athletes foot! It sounds more like you have been bitten by an ant or spider!. Clean really good with alcohol!. Use benadryl gel topically for the itching and ice for the swelling!. Keep your foot elevated, also for the swelling!.
If it spreads up your foot, becomes hot to the touch and red or gets worse and/or is no better in a couple of days, go to the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like a bite!. Clean it up as it's been mentioned, but if it feels like it's traveling, go to the Dr!. You may need an anti-biotic for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would start with athlete's foot!. Grab some of the spray or cream and see if that takes away the itch!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
