Tingling in feet?!

Question: Tingling in feet!?
I had optic neuritus which has now got better but a month later i started having sort of twitches in my left hand!. A couple of weeks after that i started getting like pins and needles through my both legs which has now gone to my feet and its happening constantly day and night!. This feels like throbbing humming and if i sort of tap my legs its like vibrations all through my legs and feet weird feeling hard to explain!. Yesterday i had like a sort of pulling feeling in my right toes which only lasted about 4 secs then few hours later it happened in my left foot!. I had an mri scan just last week as my doctor said i may have multiple sclerosis!. I am awaiting results and very worried!. I would just like to know has anyone had the same or what can it be!.!.!.!.thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

I am afraid although it might be something else, MS remains a very possible diagnosis!. If you have done your surfing, you will already know that most episodes of optic neuritis do turn out to be an indicator of an MS attack!.

MRI is not a definitive diagnostic test for MS, but I assume if there are any doubts your GP will set up a lumber puncture via a neurologist, you will need to be referred to one anyway!.

It is not all doom and gloom, even if the result is positive!. Many MS sufferers only have one or 2 attacks in their lifetimes, and certainly it is important not to assume you will end up in a wheelchair as this is only the case in severe disease!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

MS and circulatory disorders are on the cards!.!.!. you just need to wait!.

But please remember that whatever the diagnosis, there are many choices for you, try to stay positive and don't isolate yourself from your friends and family!.

I wish you all the best for the future!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi there!.
Everything is pointing to MS!. I have MS, but my symptoms have never come so close together!. I haven't heard of any other disease that gives you Optic Neuritis!.
Don't freakout! When all the MRI'S come in plead for a spinal tap!. As part of the rule out process, you have to give blood and your Dr!. will mention things like Lyme disease and Encephlitis to name a few, but if the spinal fluid has "O" bands it is most certainly MS!.
Then fight to get on one of the disease modifying drugs!. Right now they only come in injectables though, but without them you allow the MS to run rampant!.
There are MS groups online, and in just about every decent size city in America!.
Good luck!.!.!.it sucks, but it's not a death sentence!.

When I sit kneel down sometimes I feel this really bad tingle in my right leg, and it annoys me!. Then sometimes when Im sleeping it feels like my left hand is bruised and someone is just pounding on it, it eventually goes away!. I worry about it a lot, but then I try not to!. If you have multiple sclerosis, you would not be able to move, or sometimes even talk!. Try taking your mind off it, and remember that you aren't the only person in the world that gets this annoying feeling in your arms, legs, fingers, and everything else!. I really hope you feel better, wish I could do something about it, to help you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I personallly have not had these particular symptoms!. As I was reading your post however, I have to admit my first thought was MS!. I'm not a doctor but the feelings you describe sound like those I've read about!. Best to wait until the results come in rather than to speculate though!.
If you do have MS, feel some comfort in that there are many people who still lead very productive lives with this disease!.
Monteil Williams is one of them! Best of luck to you!. In the meantime try to focus on other things and fill your mind with positive thoughts!. A great book to help with this is "Chicken Soup to Inspire the Body and Soul" It has wonderful accounts of people overcoming various adversities!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
