Answers:
If she has genital herpes and had an outbreak while giving birth, then it could have transfered to your body through contact!. Herpes is spread through direct contact, and there is an A and B form, but oral can be spread to genitals and vice versa!. You get the herpes where you make contact, so if someone kissed you on the mouth, you would get it in your mouth, if you had oral sex with an infected person near or with an outbreak on their genitals, you would get it on your mouth and if someone with herpes on their mouth gave you oral sex, you could get it on your genitals!. The most likely mode of transmission is mouth to mouth and genital to genital!. It can be treated with Valtrex, but there is no cure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Herpes is a skin-to-skin virus
It lives in the nervous system - not the bloodstream like HIV!.

If your mother gave birth to you & had an active outbreak on her genitals when you were born - you could have contracted it from skin-to-skin contact with her at that time!.!.!.but not from being IN THE WOMB!.
If she had cold sores (on her mouth) and kissed you, yes she could've given it to you that way as well!.

Most of the time - the ways oral herpes becomes genital herpes is thru oral sex!.!.!.or you touching genitals after scratching a cold sore on the face
You UNLIKELY got genital herpes from your mother

There are freakish ways people get herpes - sharing wet towels RIGHT AFTER someone with an outbreak - but that would have to be within seconds of each other!.!.!.and sharing make-up
Herpes attaches to "wet areas" like genitals, mouth, eyes, nose but has been reported on back & thighsWww@Answer-Health@Com

a majority of the population has herpes!.!.!.it just stays dormant!. chicken pox is a form of herpes!. but if u get kissed on the cheek!.!.!.no on the lips, yes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
