Answers:
Keep taking the maximum dose of extra strength Tylenol (generic name of drug is acetaminophen) according to the directions on the bottle!. This will help with the sore throat and the fever!.
Also, for sore throat, keep drinking hot tea or hot water with lemon!. Throat lozenges are good too!. And never underestimate the power of distraction - rent some movies, kick back and relax!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Gargle hourly with Listerine or another antiseptic mouth wash!. Do not use Scope or some other "breath freshener" non-antiseptic mouthwash!.

If you are over 21 and have no objections to taking a drink, sip a shot of blackberry brandy -- has to be blackberry! But it works a charm!. If you are on any kind of medicine with alcohol warnings or at work, obviously this is no-go!. But it should not interfere with antibiotics!. One shot sipped through the evening should help kill the pain enough to sleep through most of the night!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've had strept a couple of times!. Take throat meds that numb the throat, like Chloraseptic spray or cepacol throat lozenges!. Basically anything with Benzocaine, which is a topical anesthetic!.

It makes your mouth and throat numb, which kind of feels weird, but swollowing is much less painfull!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I have strep or a sore throat I use cepacol and it works like a charm!.!. You can pick it up at your local drugstore!. I hope that I have helped
