Question: Can I get this if I suspect illness!?
spinal fluid investigation!. I have had a flu like illness for months now with joint pain, pressure in head, headache, sickness etc!.!.!. and wanted to know whether my cerospinal fluid could be measured for raised white blood cells!. I would like to ask the doctor for it but am afraid they may just laugh in my face!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

He's not going to laugh at you!.
Best not suggest to him which examinations to carry out as he's a doctor and knows exactly what he's doing!. He'll examine you and do tests according to your symptoms so he can get you onto the right treatment!.

A simple blood test (CBC = Complete Blood Count) can determine any increase or decreas in white blood cells or red blood cells!.
If you've done some investigating over the internet and found that you may have "this" or "that" - I would suggest not telling your doctor that!. The internet is a wonderful thing but is causing a lot of commotion in people who investigate their symptoms!.
See your doctor, tell him or her what you're experiencing and for how long it has been going on!. Chances are he or she will want to draw blood to be sure there isn't an underlying infection!.

actually, it sounds more like fibromyalgia or lupus!.!.!.!.before you get all panicky
These are chronic 24/7 pain filled days, but at least you can get meds!.!.!.not terminal!. cancer is terminal!. Go to a chronic pain specialist!. Do you have pain in your neck and shoulders, your joints!? your head!? you get cold and stay cold even when its 90 out!? Sounds like Fibromyalgia!. If you have at least 11 to 15 pain points!.!.!.see a cps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Max, ask a doctor, they won't laugh at you because it's their job to take you seriously!. Best to get your problem sorted now, the worst thing you could do is not ask the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well it doesnt sound like that it sounds more like HIV/AIDS sorry but it really does!!! those are all symptoms of it! especially the flu like symptoms for more than 2 months! you should have blood test for it!Www@Answer-Health@Com
