Question: Lyme disease!? Okay to wait till the morning to see doctor!?
I have a small, red, circular rash on the right side of my abdomen!. I believe it has expanded a little over the past week!. It's likely that it's lyme disease!. My question is: do you think it'd be OK to wait till tomorrow to have it checked or should I got to the Urgent Center right away!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The Lyme's disease rash will have a bullseye pattern!. Google "Lyme's disease rash" and check out the pictures!. (Warning, some are a little graphic!.) If it is clear you have that rash, call up the Urgent Center and ask them what they suggest you do if you believe you have a Lyme's disease rash!. Ask if you can wait until tomorrow!. If they say you can, then make an appointment with your regular doctor tomorrow!. Even if it isn't Lyme's disease, they can still check out the bite tomorrow!.
If the rash continues to get bigger tonight though, go seek medical attention!. It may be something else that is quickly spreading in your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, you can wait until tommorow!. If it is lyme disease, you have already been infected so waiting a few hours for treatment will not effect the outcome greatly!.

Did you get Bitten in the center of that rash!? (Do you know if it was a small, black tick!?)
It's probably fine to wait until tomorrow, but that should be checked out in the next day or 2, esp!. if it Does expand, by a professional familiar with Lyme!.

A few more hours won't matter much, treatment is not quick either!. Just make sure you get it taken care of!.

Heck if it is likely, I would not wait 12 more hours for it to get worse!. It could be a spider bite!. I got bit by a brown recluse (can't spell it) and it got worse each day til it was really really bad!. So don't wait!. kWww@Answer-Health@Com
Go immediately and get a Lyme disease test!. This is nothing to mess with if it is Lyme!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If the spirochetes get into your system, they can travel to the brain in a short period of time!. If I were in your shoes, I'd insist on a course of doxycycline immediately!. And read up about Lyme at the following places:
