It now occurs regularly about five times a day!. Is this normal!? I know that it may be hard to diagnos without testing or whatever, but has anyone else come across this!? I do not have any medical history of!.!.!.well!.!.!.anything!. Any ideas of what's going on!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Postural hypotension can be something that happens in healthy people (especially young women, who tend to have lowish blood pressure to start with), but can also be a sign of several diseases!.

For example, people with diabetes may have postural hypotension due to something called autonomic neuropathy!. Similarly, people with heart failure (especially when they are treated with high doses of diuretics) can end up with severe postural hypotension because their heart is not able to pump blood up to the head!.

Not knowing much about you, it's hard to sort out if postural hypotension in you represents something that's harmless (but a nuisance), or a sign of some underlying disease!.

For example, are you on a diet!? Do you have lowish blood pressure to start with!? Are you thin!? Or overweight!? Do you have other symptoms which may be suggestive of a disease!?

The possibilities are not endless, but still too numerous to address properly through the internet!. Your best bet is to see a doctor, especially if your "episodes" continue to increase in frequency and severity!.

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
