Monitor your stool to make sure that it passes!. If it stays inside your intestines then eventually it could cause and obstruction or an infection!. If you don't pass it through your stool in about 3 to 4 days then I would get it seen about!. Increase the fiber in your diet!. Drink some prune juice!. If you can't stand the taste then eat alot of grapes!. Prunes are just dried up grapes anyway!. Drink grape juice if you like it!. Drink alot of fluids!. All of this will help you pass the cap alot easier!. I do hope you are talking about a plastic cap and not the old metal caps!. If it was a metal cap then it has the rough edges that could perforate the lining of your stomach and cause some serious potentially life threatening problems!. Well, its rough areas may possibly scratch your insides going down--on the other hand they may not!.

Little kids swallow weird crap all the time & it usually doesn't hurt them!.
