Question: Need some serious help!.!.!. my ear!!?
ok so i had 6ga in both my ears, and all was fine!.!.!. then i woke up today and my right ear was really sore and swollen, and when i looked in the mirror there was puss coming from it and blood and everything!.!.!. i took the jewelry out and sorta squeezed out most of the grossness, but it's still swollen to like 3x normal earlobe size!.!.!. i tried putting ice on it but nothing is working!. any help!?

It sounds like you might have a tear (even if you're being super-careful it's still quite hard to avoid) I've come across a lot of people with the same problem but it's quite simple to deal with
Putting the 12g in was the right thing to do; if you leave the jewellery out there's a chance the swelling might stop it from draining properly, the jewellery will help keep it open
Do regular sea salt soaks twice a day to help it stay clean
Keep the 12ga in and the swelling shoud go down within a week or so then give it a month or two before you start to re-stretchWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's definitely infected and you need to see a doctor!. You'll probably have to take the thing out of your ear until it heals up!. In the meantime, wash it thoroughly with peroxide but make an appt!. to see a dr!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Rather then put a twelve ga in go for something like an 8 or 10, closer to the original size to help drain the infection!. That is what you have from the sounds of it, and the best thing you can do is contact a piercer!. If you can't do that I would recommend one of three treatments, all of which i have used successfully on my 14 piercing!. First off try using hot compresses( a wash cloth soaked with water as hot as you can stand) for ten min twice a day and cleaning your ears often with a solution such as H2Ocean or Blue wave!. If that doesn't help try using bactine spray once a day and cleaning inside the piercing with a q-tip soaked in the solution!. Your last possible cure is hydrogen peroxide ever other day and H2Ocean twice a day every day to clear up the infection!. But peroxide is harsh and can harm the healing skin as it fights the infection!. What ever you do don't use alcohol and don't let the piercing close up as it will trap the infection!.
