yeah!.!.!. i've pretty much been prescribed anything and everything in the book in my skin history!. doxycycline didn't do much for me honestly!.!.!. but it supposedly works better for very mild acne!. i have really resistant oily skin that doesn't respond to much!. The only thing that cleared it up 100% was accutane!.!.!. i was on a 6 month course of accutane about 9 months ago and it made my skin absolutely perfect!. But accutane is only prescribed for the most severe or resistant acne because of its many side effects!.!.!. but it truly is the closest thing they have to a cure for acne!. Now, my skin started breaking out a little, but you know that your skin will never be as bad as it was before accutane!. My derm prescribed me ziana for the new breakouts but it didn't do anything!.!.!. actually kinda made my skin more oily and worse!. So now my derm put me on amoxicillin (an oral antibiotic that prevents bacteria) and tazorac cream to put on at night while i sleep!. My skin has definitely been improving on these two products!.!.!. not sure which one it is though thats helping but whatever my skin looks nearly perfect!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I got prescribed accutane a few years ago and that helped!. It was expensive though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
