hunny if their twice their size you need to go to the hospital and get a shot and im not kidding almost everyone is somewat allergic to poison oak, poison ivy, poison sumac, personally if i touch it i get it, and my mother if she even gets near it shell get bumps, sounds like you are having a serious reaction and even tho not many ppl consider it an emergency it is 20% of over 200 million americans are HIGHLY SENSITIVE and instead of breaking out a day or two later they break out within 2-12 hrs of contacting please do not play around with it cause it can enter into ur blood stream which will make u very sick it can swell close ur eyes feet hands lips ears anywhere its touched and it can even erupt ur skin after you go to the hospital and get a shot of steroids which u desperately need do some home remedies heres my personal list

baking soda mix it with water to make a paste or put a cup of baking soda into a warm bathtub and soak in it for an hour no this wont make the bumps leak seep or ooze out the sap

u can also try making a 2 cups of water with 1/2 of baking soda and 1/2 of oatmeal it needs to be thick like a thick paste spread it on the spots let it completely dry then wash it off

another old remedie my granny used was vinegar and baking soda put it into a paste and rub it into ur skin every 5 minutes to where it becomes thick and clumpy but leave it on til it dries then scrub it off with hot water as hot as u can stand it this relieved the itching and healed it quicker

best of luck to uWww@Answer-Health@Com

Treating Poison Ivy Exposures
If you are exposed, according to the FDA, you should quickly (within 10 minutes):
first, cleanse exposed areas with rubbing alcohol!.
next, wash the exposed areas with water only (no soap yet, since soap can move the urushiol, which is the oil from the poison ivy that triggers the rash, around your body and actually make the reaction worse)!.
now, take a shower with soap and warm water!.
lastly, put gloves on and wipe everything you had with you, including shoes, tools, and your clothes, with rubbing alcohol and water!.
Unfortunately, if you wait more than 10 minutes, the urushiol will likely stay on your skin and trigger the poison ivy rash!. You may not be able to stop it on your skin, but you might still scrub your nails and wipe off your shoes, etc!., so that you don't spread the urushiol to new areas!.
Commercial products, like Zanfel, Ivy Cleanse Towelettes, and Tecnu Extreme Poison Ivy Scrub, are also available over-the-counter, if you don't want to use rubbing alcohol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
