One man with terminal melanoma (skin cancer) volunteered for the experiment!. His blood showed that his immune system had produced antibodies that attacked and killed the cancer cells, but the cancer had totally overwhelmed this response!. The experiment was to isolate this antibody, to quickly grow millions or them (or maybe it was billions) and then to inject them back into the guy!.
