Question: If you get the vaccine for chicken pox,does it stay dormant in your body!?
My mom had the chicken pox and gets the shingles whenever her body is under stress or is sick!.!.!.!.I talked to her one time when she had the shingles and she said she had chicken pox and it stays dormant in her body!.I have the vaccine!.!.!.IS IT DORMANT INSIDE OF ME!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

the vaccine gives your body antibodies to fight off the infection!.!.!. so if you have the vaccine then the antibodies fight it off and it can't stay dormant in your body it's just anhilated!.!.!. killed!. If you have them without the vaccine then it stays dormant and even though they say you can't get chiecken pox again the shingles is when the virus is arroused (by stress, weakness in the immune system, etc)
i'm 16 years old and i know this because i had chicken pox at a very young age, and in my family when we have chicken pox at such a young age then we have shingles sometime bewtween 6th grade and 12th grade!. i had them 8th grade and they hurt really bad!.!.!. so you're lucky you got the vaccine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Shingles is the Herpes Zoster virus and with all herpes viruses!.!.!.it stays dormant and will appear with mental and/or physical stres!. If you received the vaccine for chicken pox, you do not have the virus in your body, you just have the antibodies!. You also cannot catch shingles from your mom!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
