I hope you don't consider this rude, but why haven't you gone to the doctor!? You have extremely serious symptoms!.

I am not a medical professional, but if I were and were doing a differential dianosis, I would test you for the muriad of IBD's (Irritable Bowel Diseases)!. The most common forms of IBD are Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis!. According to your list of symptoms, I'd lean more toward Crohn's!.

Crohn's disease is a chronic, episodic IBD and is generally classified as an autoimmune disease!. Crohn's disease can affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract from mouth to anus; as a result, the symptoms of Crohn's disease vary among afflicted individuals!. The disease is characterized by areas of inflammation with areas of normal lining between in a symptom known as skip lesions!. The main gastrointestinal symptoms are abdominal pain, diarrhea (which may be bloody, though this may not be visible to the naked eye), constipation, vomiting, weight loss or weight gain!.

Ulcerative colitis is a form of IBD!. Ulcerative colitis is a form of colitis, a disease of the intestine, specifically the large intestine or colon, that includes characteristic ulcers, or open sores, in the colon!. The main symptom of active disease is usually constant diarrhea mixed with blood, of gradual onset!. Ulcerative colitis is, however, a systemic disease that affects many parts of the body outside the intestine!. Because of the name, IBD is often confused with irritable bowel syndrome ("IBS"), a troublesome, but much less serious condition!. Ulcerative colitis has similarities to Crohn's disease, another form of IBD!. Ulcerative colitis is an intermittent disease, with periods of exacerbated symptoms, and periods that are relatively symptom-free!. Although the symptoms of ulcerative colitis can sometimes diminish on their own, the disease usually requires treatment to go into remission!.

Either of the above IBD's would cause the fatigue, however, significant blood loss (and subsequent low red blood cell count) causes anemia!. Sufferers of chronic (long-term) anemia often suffer from fatigue!.

Please, PLEASE go to the doctor -- ASAP!. I was put under general anesthetic for my colonoscopy (which is a scope inserted into the colon) due to my muscle spasm tendencies!. I went to sleep then woke up and it was done!. No embarrassment, if that is your reason for not going!. I also had an upper GI endoscopy!. They gave me an amnesiac/sedative combination!. I don't remember it now, and it was nothing, really!.

If your reason for not going to the doctor is financial, look into financial aid and "learning" hospitals that perform medical tests at a reduced rate!. If nothing else, start at a clinic and see what they can do for you!.

You have extremely serious symptoms!. PLEASE find a way to get to a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you definitely need to visit a doctor !.!.!. blood in your stool is serious business

last year I had blood in my stool and upon going to the doctor I learned that I had a severe case of ulcerative colitis !.!. your condition could be in that family, but if you've been able to live with these symptoms for so many years without taking medication, you probably have Irritable Bowel Syndrome !.!.!. I suggest you visit a gastroenterologist and let him diagnose you !.!.!. you probably will have to have a colonoscopy!.!.
the other thing I can tell you is that your condition is probably causing you to have stool in your blood because your colon is not producing the fluids necessary to solidify your stool!.!. that's something that steroids and drugs can help (something I took and still take at a lower rate)!.!.
not that I want to scare you, but you shouldn't be letting this go !.!.!. my dad died of colon cancer the same year I landed in the hospital with colitis !.!. it doesn't matter how long you've been dealing with this, it's a bodily function that is terribly off !.!. you're probably tired all the time because you're losing so much blood !.!.!. your hemoglobin is probably way down !.!.!. you need to be on medication, I suggest you visit a doctor immediately !.!.!. this isn't a case to be a tough guyWww@Answer-Health@Com

If it is associated with pain & straining during passing stools, it could be piles which is easily treatable surgically!.

But, most importantly, you have been suffering for 8 years from blood in stools, alternating diarrhoea & constipation and what not!. So, you don't need to torture your body with any more guesses!. Go see a surgeon or gastroenterologist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have you tried eating greens!? What your stating sounds like it could be irritable bowel syndrome!. The doctor will have to sort it out with you!. I'd try taking acidopholus capsules and eating veggies!. Don't eat a bunch of fruit!. Is you must have meat, eat white meat only!.
Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Have you seen a doctor!? If you've been having this problem for 8 years and haven't seen a doctor, I strongly recommend that you see one quickly!. It may very well be a treatable condition, so why suffer if you don't have to!. Unfortunately, we can't diagnose you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
