Are you sure they referred him to a NEUROLOGIST and not a UROLOGIST!. A urologist deals with urine problems, and a neurologist deals with nerve or neurological problems!.
Is the doctor looking for a problem with his bladder or kidneys!? If so, then it's a urologist he needs to see!.
If there was blood in his urine, it could mean an infection, but it could also mean a kidney stone or a cancer!.
It doesn't mean that this is the end of the world!. I have always said!.!.!. don't worry until you have something to worry about!.
Treatments are very good today, and even if he had a cancer, treatments have been very successful!.
It's good he has gone to the doctor and is following up on this!. It's NOT something to let go!. Early treatment is the best thing for any problem!. He's on the right track!.!. Good luck!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They probably want to scope his bladder and see whats up in there, I am thinking you mean Eurologist!. That is standard procedure for blood in urine, no infection!. Don't panic yet, some folks have trace amounts of blood in thier urine every time they are tested all thier lives and have no ill effect from it at all!. Right now it is just a fact finding mission!. Hang in there!.
Theres a good chance the fatigue isn't even related to this!. the Doctor is doing the right thing and looking for all the possibilities!.
Has he asked for a glucose tolerance test or been given one, the symptoms are possible signs of diabetes and/or hypoglycemia!. both can be controlled very well these days!. Often without meds, just a few lifestyle changes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
