Question: My husband woke up with something weird on his back!?
He has infected stretched earlobes can this cause this big red patch on his back and clear bubbles or blister and about 3 by 3 inches its pretty bad he said it hurts what can it be!?Should he go to the er!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Has your husband ever had chicken pox!? If the rash is blistery and extremely painful it might be shingles (herpes zoster which is the virus that causes chicken pox)!. The rashes usually follow a nerve path and are unilateral (staying on one side of the body)!. Typically shingles is brought on by stress or a compromised immune system!.
Not much can be done for shingles aside from letting it run it's course!. However, I would highly suggest seeking medical attention to determine what it is for sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
