I agree with Nah Z that the best thing to do would be to dial 911!. However, I dispute what she says about it being "imminently life threatening"!. This is usually NOT the case, unless the blood sugar levels have been persistently high for an extended period of time!.
The chances are, your mom will be admitted to hospital for a short period of time and she will be treated with insulin !.!.!. usually rapid acting insulin, which may be given on a 'sliding scale'!. This means that her blood sugar levels will determine at what rate to administer the insulin doses !.!.!. probably by way of a pump system!.
Although Javier F offers good advice about drinking plenty of water, please do NOT get your mom exercising in an attempt to 'burn up' the sugar in her system!. When someone's blood sugar level is so high, the chances are that they have developed ketoacidosis, meaning that her body is breaking down fat reserves in an attempt to create energy!.

The only thing that can lower it quickly is insulin!. I f she is a type 2 diabetic and isn't on insulin maybe she should ask the doctor about it because that is very high!. Exercise can bring down your sugar level but it isn't advised with a blood sugar reading that high!. I would suggest going to the E!.R!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
