Answers:
There is no lasting cure for HIV/AIDs because the disease mutates itself very quickly, meaning that there is no cure for it, because as soon as they create a cure for one strain, it will have mutated, making the treatment ineffective!. When a disease mutates, it changes it's DNA so that it become a different type of the same disease, immune to medication that might have worked on previous strains!. Another reason is because AIDs damages the immune system, meaning that the body's natural defences cannot fight off the disease!.

Basically, they can find a cure, but as the disease changes often, the cure will not last!. It's like trying to find a cure for a cold!. You probably get a cold every year, but it will be slightly different each time, otherwise they would make a vaccine against it!. This is because the cold virus mutates itself frequently!.

Hope you understood my explanation and I wasn't too confusing =PWww@Answer-Health@Com

Aids Yes! I think so! But you need lots of money! The conspiracy with aids is that there is "no cure" so those poor people dying from it will just die because poor people arn't imporant (I DONT BELIEVE THIS ITS JUST A CONSPIRACY THEORY)!. Magic Johnson (I think!?) had aids and was "miraculously cured"!.
But no there arn't cures for everything because they need to be discovered and no not all meds are made from plants!. Look at radiation therapy for cancer treatments, thats definitly not made from plants!.
It's not that easy to discover a cure, takes years and years and years of testing and genius scientist to create formulas!.
Like herpes for example, there is no cure!. So basically your going to have warts on your crotch for the rest of your life, thats why you have to be careful of STD's!. Always wear protection but mostly, just dont sleep around!.

There was a south park episode about this!. Altho the show is for jokes, the meaning was true (they injected concentrated money into the veins of Eric cartman to cure cancer!.!.!.its a metaphor for those with money can buy the cure)Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is no cure for HIV, the virus that can lead to AIDS!. Treatments can help people who are HIV+ live longer, healthier than they could in the past, but the treatments have side effects!.
One of the main reasons there is no cure for HIV is that the virus mutates so often and so rapidly!. A vaccine or particular treatment may be effective in killing one mutation, but not others!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There was a machine invented back in 1996, that heated to 108 degrees, and HIV can only handle up to 105, while pumping it through a machine that filtered and heated your for a couple of hours!. It was effective, but the government said that it was putting medicine companies out of business!. You see, thee are potential cures!. But our governent doesn't care, as long as they're making money!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes!.!.!.!.!.!.!.it's true!.Huge amount of money is being spent by most of the countries to find out some cure or immunisation against HIV/AIDS !.!.!.!.!.!.so far there hasn't been any such breakthrough!. But, I am not a pessimist !. I strongly believe that sooner or later some cure or immunisation will be found out by the great scientists engaged in the Labs of huge medical companies which spend in terms of millions of dollars on R&D!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the first answerer is uneducated, has no idea what's going on in research!. There is no cure because the virus is constantly mutating, but there are drugs that make people with HIV live for many years if they take care of themselvesWww@Answer-Health@Com

There is no cure because other things that do have a cure have took some time and HMV and AIDS need more time still, but it does not mean to say that it will always be this way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are rite, every disease has it treatment in nature but some it takes some time to discover!. Scientists are trying to discover i hope they will succeed soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i heard their is ppl that is imune to it dunno about that bt im sure alot of ppl are trying 2 figure out a cureWww@Answer-Health@Com

One of the main reasons that progress towards a cure or vaccine has been slow for HIV is that no individual has completely recovered from the disease (on their own or with drugs)!. In just about any infectious disease that has a cure or vaccine, there are instances in which individuals have been able to fight off the infection on their own (without the aid of any man-made drugs)!. The significance of this is that it gives researchers a paradigm by which to approach developing a cure!. They look at an individual who has recovered naturally and try to figure out what it is about them that allowed them to survive!.

An extreme case would be ebola which most people have probably heard a bit about!. It kills people extremely quickly, but despite its severity, a small percentage (10%) of people survive ebola infection!. There is currently an ebola vaccine and its development was significantly aided by investigating why those 10% did not succumb to the infection like the other 90%

However, with HIV, there is no 10% that recovers!. Once you have HIV, you will always have HIV!. So, relative to other infectious disease, scientists have a handicap!. However, one optimistic piece of info is that there is a population of individuals who cannot become infected with HIV!. While this doesn't help in finding a cure, in the future it could lead towards prophylactic treatments that could prevent HIV infection in the first place (i!.e!. if you know you might be at risk for HIV infection, you would take a drug, and it would block the virus before it infects the body's cells)!. This mutation occurs in a gene (CCR5) which produces a molecule on the surface of a cell which HIV uses like a door knob to gain access to the cell!. If the gene is mutated, the knob is no longer present and the virus has nothing to latch on to!. The mutation occurs about 5% of europeans!.

EDIT FOR OTHER QUESTIONS:
1) Very few medical treatments are derived from just "being discovered in nature!." In the past this may have been true because there was no way to just make synthetic molecules, but this obviously limited medicine to what people could just find!. It's not as if for every disease nature creates, it creates a corresponding plant to cure it (although that would be convenient)!. Most drugs today are created by analyzing what kind of chemical would be needed to interact with a disease causing molecule to prevent it, and then that compound is synthesized through trial and error!.

2) HIV is not anything like a tumor so I'm not sure what you are referring to there!. As for "finding the spread," once you get HIV into your system, it disseminates throughout your body as fast as the blood stream can take it, meaning your whole body contains HIV particles within a few minutes, so there is no way to isolate it in a region of the body!. As for preventing the immune cells from dying, if there was a way to do that, it would otherwise be known as "the cure for AIDS!." That's exactly what researchers are looking for!.

3) In reference to the metaphor of money and treatment, there is absolutely no cure for AIDS, only medicine that can delay the effects temporarily!. What money can buy you is more and more time (although there is a limit and everyone with AIDS will eventually die of related effects)!. So, the poor have less access to better drugs which means they will be able to stave off the disease less than a rich individual!. While this is unfair, it's not as if there is a cure that rich people are hording!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is really complicated!.!.!. but as a quick answer, HIV is amazingly adaptive!. It mutates really quickly and avoids the body's immune system's defenses really well, that's why you can't destroy it yourself!.

This ability to mutate quickly also means that the virus is very resistant to any treatments you give it!.!.!. it changes in response to any treatments!. It's also hard to create a vaccine or anything because the virus changes!. There is more than one strain of the virus out there!.

RESPONSE to your second question: HIV is a retrovirus, which means that it incorporates itself into cell genetic material!. For a better description, look up "retrovirus" in google!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hiv/Aids is a very tricky virus!. It can hide in your body undected for a seriously long time not harming your body but just there!. HIV/AIDS, attacks the immune system, the system that protects your body from dieases!. So, gradually your immune system fails and even 'weak' viruses could harm you!. No one ever dies from HIV/AIDS they die because of it!.

One of the reasons it is so hard to find a cure is because of how new it is!. AIDS has not been around for a long time like other diesases!. So there has been less time for research, plus it changes itself over time!. But always attacks the immune system!. Also, not all plants can cure everything!. And not all medicine is from plants!. Penicillin for instant is not from plants!.

Also, HIV/AIDS is very easy to spread!. Mostly from having sex, from blood, or from mother to child!.
