Answers:
Sometimes there are no symptoms at all, especially in women as most studies in the past history have been conducted on men!.

Swelling of the feet and ankles, a sign that the kidneys are working correctly could be due to high blood pressure!. Light headed feeling or dizziness, cold sweats, difficulty in breathing, a flush especially on your face and cheeks but other places on your body also!.

Many people do not know they have High bp and it goes undiagnoised therefore left untreated!. They just think, whew, I just had a dizzy spell!.

If in doubt, most pharmacies have free blood pressure machines that will give you a general idea, but as you should have an obgyn check up every two years, insist that they draw blood and check for everything, a complete workup!.

Make a list of things to ask before you go so that you can stay on track and get the most out of your doc visit!.

If in fact you do have high bp, aside from meds that are avaliable, also your diet and exercise regimine has alot to do with it as well as relieving stress that you have in your life!.

Relieving stress is a difficult thing to do I realize but it is the number one thing you can start on today!. If you carry a few extra pounds, that's enough for your heart to up the bp and say hey, Im working as hard as I can here so give me a little help here!.

High bp makes you listless, and out of energy!. Even the smallest of activities seem to take major effort!. If you smoke, stop now, smoking raises bp immediately when it hits your system!.

I hope this helps steph, but truly if you are in question, please see a doc, or even just drop by your local health dept to have them check it!. The visit is free and it will either tell you that you need meds, exercise, and diet or it will set you mind at ease!.

It is called he silent killer, because it doesn't always have noticeable symptoms!. Some that you might notice are headaches, dizziness upon standing, headache after drinking a lot of fluid,

Picture a blast of water forcing it's way thru the screen door!. If it is strong enough, the water will stretch the screen wires out of place!. That's what High BP does to kidneys!. and other organs!. It's like turning the water pressure WAY up on the well pump at your house and letting it burst all the small old pipes under the kitchen sink!. High BP will burst your old small vessels in your brain and other places!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh dear High Blood Pressure!. How to begin!? Well, for one high blood pressure can be dangerous if it gets to a certain point and you could become very sick!. There is medication you can take to keep it more so maintained or perhaps lower it to a certain extent, but all the same once it reaches a certain point, it has side affects, and must be watched closely!. As you asked, according to recent estimates, about one in three U!.S!. adults has high blood pressure, but because there are no symptoms, nearly one-third of these people don't know they have it!. In fact, many people have high blood pressure for years without knowing it!. Uncontrolled high blood pressure can lead to stroke, heart attack, heart failure or kidney failure!. This is why high blood pressure is often called the "silent killer!." The only way to tell if you have high blood pressure is to have your blood pressure checked!. So, hope I helped you some what! ; )

Unfortunately, there often aren't any symptoms!. You can only detect high blood pressure by testing it!. Many drug stores or grocery stores have blood pressure machines!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

HBP is a silent killer!. It gives off no symptoms!. You have to either go get tested or test yourself to find out if you have it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
