okay so i got a coldsore and your not supposed to kiss or share with someone while u do or they get it but my boyfriend currently has one too so is there any hurt in us kissing eachother since we both have a breakout!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Anyway, to answer the question, no, it won't do either of you any harm to kiss while you both have cold sores, you both already have it!. It may be a little uncomfortable, but it will not cause you any harm!. And I think that what that one person was trying to say is to avoid oral sex, because then you could get it genitally, but I'm sure you already knew that!. Actually it is called Herpes type 1 and it is technically an STD about 70-80% of the population has it and they usually contract it when they are young!. They are highly contagious and spread very easily so you probably shouldn't kiss unless you want more of them take abreva and let them heal and make sure you don't do any oral because it can spread to the genitals!.!.!.so maybe you should go back to school because it actually is herepes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i might hold off on heavy making out!. it may very well spread on your own mouths!. Individual cells are infecte they bursts and spread the virus!. Maybe not all lip cells are infected and thier is no reason to hurry the process along by masging lips together!. Maybe the whole lip is already got this in every cell!. I don't think so but maybe!.
