I have horrible posion ivy from my ankles to my crotch, its been there for about 2 weeks and is not really drying up fast enough!. I am afraid now because it is spreading hands, and i have finals all next week!. I dont know what to do!. I am deathly terrified of neddles but if thats the only way to stop it then i guess i have to!.!.!. I have all ready tried Burts Bees Posion Ivy Soap, and two forms of Cala Gel!. Please help if i miss finals i will most likely fail!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Calamine lotion!. Works excellent for me!. or try making a paste of baking soda and water!. For the itch I would suggest smearing some Crest Baking Soda and peroxide toothpaste on it!. it takes the itch away immeadietly!.

this will hurt a little bit, but scratch it open and put bleach on it, itl dry it up!.
and make sure everytime you touch it you wash your hands, it can spread all over your body if you get it on your hands, and dont worry about giving it to other people, the only way other people can get it is if they touch the plant, you can only spread it to different parts of your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the forestry dept has used it for years!.
this is absolutely the best way to pull out those oils and heal you faster!. as an added bonus, if you wash with it immediately after being exposed NEXT TIME you won't break out into a rash at all!.
if things don't start to feel better within a day or so of using tecnu, your doctor should prescribe you steroids to control your reaction to the poison ivy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try raw bacon, I had poison Ivy real bad too head to toe, and that is the only thing that helped, the salt in the bacon draws out the poison and dries the wound, while the oil relieves the itching, trust me it works , sounds weird but it works

Wash thoroughly in the hottest water you can stand with fels naptha soap, and then use colloidal oatmeal, such as Aveeno, or calamine lotion to help soothe the area!. Also see this link for more help:

Try putting oatmeal into a tub, I had to have that done as a kid!. Oatmeal and warm water!. I believe it draws out the "poison"!.
