Please help me with my question?!

Question: Please help me with my question!?
Well!. I recently wrote about a small pea sized lump found in my sons neck!. I took him to the doctor three time and on the second one they did blood test a cbc i think and another one and she said that he has an viral infection but that was two weeks ago and I took him in last week and she said that it is the same size but not as hard!. If there was any thing to really worry wouldn't it have shown up in the blood test or no!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

My son, when he was 10, found a lump too!. We took him in to have it checked - it was not serious and there was nothing to worry about!. The lump turned out to be an enlarged lymph gland/node which had been caused by a cold (upper respiratory infection) he had since recovered from!.

We can't help but worry, but if there's no change and no other symptoms, try to ease your mind!.
I, too, have had a couple of (pea size) lumps!. Naturally, I was petrified until examination and removal revealed a harmless cyst!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No- Don't worry!. Your son has/had a virus!. The lump n his neck was most likley only a swollen lymph node!. These develop as the body is trying to fight an "invasion" of some sort !. The reason not to be concerned about the CBC is that there was no infection (increased white blood count)!. So don't be worried about bacteriaWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, if something was really wrong, it would show up in the blood test!. And if that were the case, they would order more tests!. Unless they tell you to make another appointment for more tests, I wouldn't be concerned!. But if it really bothers you, call and talk to your MD!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What you probably feel is a swollen lymph node!. The swell in response to infections and can take up to months to go back down!. If the doctor saw him, you shouldn't be worried!. They should check every possibility!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
