Answers:
Although it is treatable, complications can occur (although are exceptionally rare), these include: pneumonia, kidney damage and meningitis!.

However, as I said, complications are rare, and those are the rarest complications of all!.

To make sure that you can't catch it, try to avoid the infected person, although as it's your sister, that's pretty impossible, so just make sure to wash your hands regularly, and to maintain good general hygiene!.

The good news is that the bacteria reacted and gave your sister scarlet fever rather than streptococcal toxic shock syndrome, which is highly lethal!.

All in all, there aren't many risks associated with scarlet fever, so relax, it isn't that much of a problem these days (well, bar the fact that group A beta hemolytic strep infections are still generally hated by everyone)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

follow up with the doctor who diagnosed the illness and get all of your questions answered BEFORE you leave the office!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if not treated with abitbiotics there would be heart problems you have ever will not catch it from her,Www@Answer-Health@Com
