Question: How do I treat a mosquito bite on my arm!?
My arm is extremely itchy from a mosquito bite I got last night!. I put ice on it right away, even held an ice pack there for 5 minutes or so!. Then before bed I put Aveeno lotion on it, and today I repeated the process!. Why is it still itching!? How can I stop the itching and reduce the swelling like in 2 days!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try extra strength Benadryl Cream!. It works as a local anesthetic to ease the itch and is also an antihistamine to block the release of histamine which is what causes the reaction and itch!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i use regular rubbing alcohol dowse it on as soon as you get it!.!.

I was at a deck party awhile back, and the bugs were having a ball biting everyone!. A man at the party sprayed the lawn and deck floor with Listerine, and the little demons disappeared!. The next year I
filled a 4-ounce spray bottle and used it around my seat whenever I saw mosquitoes!. And voila! That worked as well!. It worked at a picnic where we sprayed the area around the food table, t he children's swing area, and the standing water nearby!. During the summer, I don't leave home without it!.!.!.!.!.Pass it on!.
OUR FRIEND'S COMMENTS: I tried this on my deck and around all of my doors!. It works - in fact, it killed them ins tantly!. I bought my bottle from Target and it cost me $1!.89!. It really doesn't take much, and it is a big bottle, too; so it is not as expensive to use as the can of Bug-spray you buy that doesn't last 30 minutes!. So, try this, please!. It will last a couple of days!. Don't spray directly on a wood door (like your front door), but spray around the frame!. Spray around the window frames, and even inside the dog house!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think the swelling will reduce once u stop itching but I'm not sure you can make it go away in 2 days!. for the itching i use "Campho-Phenique" which is a medicated liquid you can buy for insect bites!. I think some people use vinegar but I'm not sure about that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
An old fashioned remedy is white vinegar!. Pour a little onto a paper towel, and dab it on whenever it itches!. I will warn you, however, that if you've already scratched the bite, then the vinegar will burn!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well, you can buy "After-Bite" at drugstores!. It really helps stop the itchinig!. If you stop scratching, it will go away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
