Question: How long does it take for Hepatitis C to kill you if you contract it today!?
Answers:
For many people it won't kill them, just make them fatigued & achy & lower their quality of life some!. Others it may kill them eventually, but it depends on a lot of variables: lifestyle (if you drink, your liver will fail much quicker!. Same for drug use; OTC as well as prescriptions & street drugs)!. Diet, age, race, also play a part in how you'll fare with hep c!. Unfortunately, there is no formula to follow, so everyone with hep c should be cautious, eat healthy, no drinking or drugs unless prescribed by a knowledgable doctor!. And get vaccinated against Hep A & B so your liver will not be under a double attack!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The prognosis for hepatitis C!.

Instead, the effects of the disease are gradual with 80% of sufferers not showing any symptoms!.

The main symptom is cirrhosis of the liver (which wouldn't be detectable, but other symptoms resulting from this would i!.e!. dark urine, jaundice etc!.)

Also, people can get liver transplants which would result in the cirrhosis being nullified, and the disease almost having to 'start again'!.

However, if you do have hepatitis C, and there isn't any intervention, the patient will suffer from liver failure eventually!.

Sadly, there is no cure for hepatitis C, but research has been done to prevent and suppress the symptoms and more importantly, suppress the virus for long periods of time!.

Not being a nephrologist, I don't pretend to understand the disease or have much experience with it, I am just giving you information that I know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe it won't and you'll just be very ill for a very long time -use condoms and don't do drugs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
