Question: Sun burn peeling!?
I got a sun burn really bad on my shoulders!. It turned into a tan and was fine for two days!. I've been putting on aloe and moisturizers everyday since i got the sun burn!. Now my shoulder peeled a little bit!. Theres a huge pick spot on my shoulder now and the rest is all tan!. It looks like i scarred from a fire or something!. What do i do to get it all the same color!? Can i stop it from peeling even more, or should i let it peel completely!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
that happen to me last week in the same spot!. don't touch it and the skin will heal and be the same color as the rest of your skinWww@Answer-Health@Com

You will not be able to "stop it from peeling" as that is dead skin being sloughed off!. It is also a great way to set yourself up for skin cancer later in life (not even too much later, I fear) so, you need to use sunscreen or avoid exposure during the middle of the day (before 10 AM or after 3PM is best time to go out with no or minimal screen)!. I have lost three relatives to melanoma so I take it seriously!. The pink spot is unburned skin being revealed as the dead skin comes off!. You really should not expose yourself further just to get your tan even!.!.!.it's not safe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah this happens to me a lot!.!.!.i actually end up peeling the dead skin off (just cause i can't stand how groose it looks) but then just keep putting lotion and aloe on it and it will heal normally!. the pink is from the new skin so leave that alone and it will turn into your skin color eventually!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There's really nothing you can do except let it runs its course!. You burned your skin and it will peel!. There's nothing to do except let it peel!. The pink spot, however, will fade in a few days and look alright!. It's pink because it's a new layer of skin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should just leave it alone because if you put anything
creams or anything on it, it might take longer to recover!.
Just let it peel but don't try to peel it yourself!. If you give it time!.
then everything will be back to normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
