Is this treatment dangerous?!
Question: Is this treatment dangerous!?
Occasionally, Hemorrhoidal type irritation (burning and itching) affects many people including yours truly!. Does the following treatment do more damage than good!? It always seems to work for me!
>quick, gentle swab with 70% alcohol (pbv) applied to sterile cotton
>application of a thin smear of petroleum jelly
>clean dry swab to remove excess
Note: This is a very infrequent nuisance for me---thank goodness!. The 'treatment' seems to ward off re-occurrence for months at a time!. No obvious damage seems to result in this unorthodox treatment!Www@Answer-Health@Com
