i think i may have herpes!.!.!.i love my fiance to death!.!.!.we always have portected sex!.!.!.how do i even begin to tell him this!.!.!.i feel like my life is over!.!.!.i am seriously depressed!.!.!.and feel like all is lost !.!.!.!.!.i feel so alone!.!.!.this is very overwhelming for me!.!.!.!.what do i do!.!. i know first step is to go and get tested!.!.!.but im 99 percent sure i have it!.!.!.!.!.im afraid of telling him!.!.!.!.!.someone please helpWww@Answer-Health@Com

You'll need to tell your fiance for two reasons!. First, he needs to know so that he and you can protect him from it - if that's what it is!.
But more importantly, he needs to know so that he can support you and be there for you!. Part of being in a loving, life-long relationship is supporting each other through difficult times!. And once he realizes that you can have herpes without having cheated on him, he has the chance to show you what a supportive spouse he will be!. Or that he won't be supportive (which is a good thing to know BEFORE you get married!.)
You probably know you can get herpes from oral sex with him (assuming he is like 50% to 80% of adults and has oral herpes) or that you can have herpes lie dormant for years before you notice an outbreak!.
If you've gotten it from cheating on him, though, then the most important thing you need to work out is why you cheated!.
A genital herpes diagnosis is hard!. When I was first diagnosed, I felt awful - ashamed, depressed, diseased!. I was sure no one would love me again!. But the more I learned about herpes, the less horrible it seemed!. And the more boyfriends that I had who DID NOT reject me for the herpes, the better I felt!. Now, I'm happily married and I honestly don't think about my herpes much!.
One thing at a time, though!.
Get tested!.
Learn a bit about herpes!.
Lean on your fiance - let him be there for you!.

You HAVE to tell him!. It would not be fair not to!. If he loves you he will stay by your side, and make sure he gets tested too!. Don't be depressed, there are worse things out there and with the right precautions and medications, you can keep your outbreaks to a minimum!. It doesn't mean your life or sex life for the matter is over!. Use protection but you have to remember that herpes can still spread even with a condom!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
