i made out with my boyfriend the day i started to feel sick!. so he'll most likely get it!. but when we're both better can we give it back to eachother since we'd be carriers!?

Urgh, girl I have Mono right now!. Its been 3 weeks and FINALLY my symtoms have died down!. Once your symptoms are gone, you are still contagious up to 4-6 weeks after that!. I think its a 50% possiblity you gave it to your boyfriend!. Mono is caused by EBV, which about 95% of the population is aready exposed to!. So, he may not get it!. You never know!. Now about your sore throat!. Mine lasted a week, but my doctor called in Medral dose pack!. Its an anti inflammatory steriod that will reduce the pain, swollenness and inflammation of most of the Mono symptoms!. I would call him up and ask him it theres anything he can call in to make you feel more comfortable!. Other then that, I found ice chips and italin ice to help!. Mono will always be in your body, and can come back at any time, but especially when you are worn down, stressed out, or lacking in sleep!.

omg that was the worst experience of my life!. i had horrible headache for 3 weeks straight, no medicine helped!. had a fever of 102 and fatigue!.!.!.!.etc not even vicoden helped!
mine lasted 3 weeks, and if ur a carrier u cant get it again!. or basically if u already have gotten it, u cant or generally dont get it again!.
