I haven't had a seizure in over 3 months, but California DMV might suspend m!

Question: I haven't had a seizure in over 3 months, but California DMV might suspend my license!?
I am going through Driver Reevaluation through the DMV because of my epilepsy!. I will soon be retaking the driving test for the third time!. I kind of knew I might not pass the first time because the guy was kind of strict!. So, I had to go again and take the driving test!. I was pretty sure I passed but got another notice in the mail that I had to take the test again!. I called the Driver Safety office and the person told me if I don't pass the thrid time, they are going to suspend my license!. I wasn't given anything telling what I did wrong after each test, and now I am going to be really nervous if I don't pass this third test!. I haven't had a seizure in over three months, so should I call the Driver Safety Dept!. and ask to be put on Medical Probation!. My doctor sent in paperwork to DMV stating I was safe to drive!. I don't get what taking the driving test over is going to prove anyway!. My seizures are controlled by medication and my doctor said I am safe to drive too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't understand that rule either!. Usually your suspended and reinstated after a period of time with no reoccurance!. Have you actually looked into this law!? It would be worth looking it up at the library under the CA DMV Laws!.

Even though it may not seem right it still could be a law and therefore you will have to pass the test!. So just study hard and follow all of the safety laws while taking the test!.!.

But really look up this law!. You can call them and ask them which law this is!. But be discreet don't just ask about the law!.

(I'm alittle confused when you say put on medical probation!.!.you have passed this test once before right!?)

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

In criminal law, the fact that you know you have epilepsy and choose to drive (even with medication) means that if, God forbid, anything ever happened, and you had a seizure and accidentally hit someone causing their death, you could be found guilty of murder!. So, there is a reason why your state is so protective!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i'd hate to be the driver next to u!. no offense, but please dont risk driving u can seriously injure someone else, possibly children walking home from school, a father getting off of work tryign to get home to his wife & kids, an elderly couple, a doctor who can save osomeone else's life, just take the bus or somethingWww@Answer-Health@Com

My friends mother is epileptic, and she had a seizure when driving!. She totalled her car, and ended up in jail!.
You never know when those things will hit honey!.!.!.if they don't want you driving, they probably have a good reason!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try not to take this as a personal attack against you, or that they are treating you badly because of your epilepsy!. Think about the fact that even though you have had your seizures under control for three months, a seizure could still happen sometime in the future!. How scary would that be if you were driving when it occurred!? For you, of course, but for other drivers on the road who wouldn't have a clue what was going on!.

You don't have to listen to my opinion, but I would really recommend that you be seizure free for at least a year before you consider getting behind the wheel!. After that long without a seizure, it's a pretty good bet that your medications are working properly and the risks to you, your passengers, and others on the road would drop considerably!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
