Unfortunately, you can't make someone stop doing something unless they want to!. Have you suggested he go to Narcotics Anonymous or drug counseling, or even just talk to a Psychologist about his addiction!? There is a reason he is using substances to get by in life!. And people do not realize, atleast not at first or all the time, that doing these illegal and detrimental things not only affects their life adversely, but it also affects the life of others around them, who care about them!. And are they willing to lose those who are closest to them and who truly care and love them!? Sounds like it is time for an intervention!. I had to get my now husband away from the people he "partied" with and he has been "clean" for over 3 years now!. Thank goodness!.!.!.Good luck!.
