during an operation!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Not normally!. I am usually fine and come round laughing and alert but the last two times have been quite bad!. When I was put to sleep to have my wisdom teeth out, I came round laughing but my body was paralysed!. When I had an operation last year I had to have a pre-med because I'd worked myself into such a state so when I came round I was really confused and groggy and couldn't stop crying!.

[I've never felt anything during an operation when I've had a general!. I did have a local instead once (because I wanted to go home - I'd been there for 8 hours) when I had an absess drained!. That hurt!. It felt like somebody was digging out my ribs!. A general is definately the way to go and there's plenty of pain relief given after you've come round!. Usually morphine!.]

This is rare though and most general anaesthetics are fine!. If you're having an operation just make sure you follow the instructions (no eating, drinking, smoking, etc)!.

Hope this helped!.

I had an angiogram done once and they put me under for it!. It wasn't during the procedure (which was relatively painless when I woke up), but as soon as I woke up it felt like someone has put all my insides on ice!. I was shaking so bad I think I heard the cart rattle but they got me some thick blankets so I was alright!.

Yeah, the end!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The first time I had an operation, they gave me a bunch of some kind of narcotic (too much!) that is supposed to relax you before they totally knock you out!. Apparently they gave me so much that I stopped breathing and they had to intubate me, but I don't remember a thing! I've been under a few times since that, with no problems at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It wasnt that bad but when I was about 9 I had an operation on my ears and they put numbing cream on the backs of my hands then injected this stuff to put me to sleep but they injected it miles away from the numb part so that was horrible!. Then they told me it was hedgehog milk!.!.!.!.not sure if it was!.!.!.!.!.!. then I had 2 count down from 10 and i got to about 4!.!.!.!.i thinkWww@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know what they give you but it makes you have the best sleep ever! Depending on what they are operating on, you will be able to react to commands but can't really say anything independently!. If it's a more intense surgery, then they'll put you under more!. Either way, when you wake up, you'll probably be sore but fine!. I wouldn't worry about it too much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, when I was a child and this big green frog (anaesthetist) tried to suffocate me (with the mask)!. But i was on my deathbed and very disorientated at the time!. since then I have always been scared of anaesthetics but its never been as bad as that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
