i want to try and get rid of my spots and everyone has recommended using toothpaste but some people have told me it stings and it makes you skin go red !

It's more tingly than stingy!. It does kinda work as it dries out the spot and makes it less red, especially if you leave it on overnight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
