Could this problem with my ear be related to a nasty cold that I had?!

Question: Could this problem with my ear be related to a nasty cold that I had!?
A few weeks ago I got a nasty, terrible head cold!. When the cold went away, it was all of a sudden replaced by a feeling like there was fluid in my right ear!. I went to the doctor who told me that I had no wax in my ear, and rather it was a case of there being fluid around the ear canal!. He said there was nothing in the ear, even though it feels like it!. So what is this!? Trapped sinus fluid or something!? It was really bad when it first started, but thankfully it has gradually gotten better!. But progress is slow!.

Have you ever had this happen after having a cold!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
yep!.!.!.go to another dr!!! he needs to give you an antibiotic to dry up the fluid behind the ear drum! I have this happen VERY often!!! due to allgeries!.!.!.!.if you don't get something to help dry it up, your ear could not only hurt, but become swollen and stop your ear for months! Try benedryl @ night or go to the Dr!.!
