Problem with my hand?!
Question: Problem with my hand!?
I have dead/dry skin on my right hand (just the bottom like palm and area on back of fingers) Its been like this since 4 years ago!.!.!. I can't stop picking at it and its really dry!. Any ideas on what to do!? I've tried Lubriderm lotion and other kinds!.!.!. but how about some that actually work!? Could I cure this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like a fungal infection!. I would try a topical anti-fungal cream which can be purchased over-the-counter at your local drug store!. Ask the pharmacist for the best product!. Don't be at all embarrassed!. It's so very common!.
If you, and other members of your family, have been suffering from a form of athlete's foot (which I suspect you have been)!.!.!.this is very contagious!. Ways of transmitting the fungal infection include, but are not limited to: not wearing socks & walking on the same floor, use of the same bathtubs & showers, socks washed at cold temperatures, touching of skin, etc!.
I can almost GUARANTEE this is what is going on!.!.!.especially considering it is your right hand that is inflicted! If you are right-handed, you'd be most likely to rub your itchy, dry feet with this hand!. I hope you talk the rest of your family into using fungal cream as well!. If you continue to walk barefoot!.!.!.!.AND ESPECIALLY if you use the same bathtub!.!.!.YOU WILL NEVER CLEAR up your infection!. Good luck babe! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

My ex used to get terrible eczema/dermatitis/dry skin on his hands!. They were so bad that they'd crack and bleed!.
He got an over the counter skin cream (he asked the pharmicist) and he bought some of those cotton gloves that you can get in pharmacies too!. Smother your hands in the cream and wear the gloves while you sleep!. I'm pretty sure you can get socks for the same purpose!.
It makes such a difference in such a short time!.

my husband uses the prescription elocon (sp!?)!. i've also heard of el-adel, but he didn't like it as much!. hope it helps!.

well if i were u i would just ask my doc about it!.!.!.we all kno they luv 2 prescribe all types of never heard of healing products!.!.!.it's good that ur tryin to keep it moist but obviously ask ur doctor if it has been so persistant!.!.!.NOT 2 SCARE U!.!.!.meantime>>try sum coacoa butter, shea butters, and vaseline, and mayB exfoliating handsoaps<<Www@Answer-Health@Com
