Which one is too stressful for a 52 year old?!

Question: Which one is too stressful for a 52 year old!?
Nursing or physical therapy as a major!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The schooling for PT is longer and typically much more rigidly structured than with nursing!. Nursing can typically still get a two year degree, with PT, the minimum reuqirement is a master's degree unless one decides to become a physical therapy assistant!. Physical therapy education is typically done full time in day format!.!.!.I think nursing education is a little more flexible, until you get into your clinical work!.

The physical demands can be comparable!.!.!.but will depend on the setting!. PTs do often have to work weekends and holidays, but not as frequently as nurses!.

If one hasn't had much college science education, physical therapy will probably be more challenging since more science is required!.

If you are an analytical person, physical therapy will be more suited to you!.!.!.if you are better at declaritive cognition (memorization), nursing may suit you better!.

In the end, it depends on your strengths and weaknesses!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi!. It depends on you, however, my mom went to nursing school at the age of 47, and was a great student!. Nursing is what she always wanted!. Actually working as a nurse is somewhat different!. She became burnt out quickly, as many nurses do!. My mother-in-law went to nursing school in the Philippines, at the age of 57!. She also was an excellent student!. She stated the other day, "Why did I go into nursing!?" Although nursing itself can be stressful, in the USA, you're compensated better than in most countries!. Physical therapy (school) is very competitive to get in to, but they make almost as much as nurses!. Both jobs can be physical, but think of this-with physical therapy, there is no on-call, no weekends (usually), no night shift, and no holidays(usually) to work!. See if you can "shadow" someone, meaning follow a physical therapist and nurse around during their shift, and observe what the jobs entail!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Believe it or not, if the 52 year old is doing what they love, they won't be stressed out ^_^!. People also react in general to stress differently!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
