Could a freaking blood test from a good clinic have the wrong results?!

Question: Could a freaking blood test from a good clinic have the wrong results!?
i got a blood test 2 weeks ago to make sure if i really am diabetic!. it was the 2nd time i got a blood test, and this one was the one which required me to fast for 12 hours and it would give them a 3 month record of my blood sugar!.!.!.and it was all negative!

but still!. my parents insist that i should get a second opinion and i was like, "WHO THE HELL NEEDS TO GET SECOND OPINION ON A BLOODTEST!?"

is it possible for the results to be wrong!? mind you, i got it on a loyola medicine clinic!.

i also got my pee checked and there was nothing in there! from what i know, a person with diabetes has a high glucose level and you'll see that in their pee!. and i dont have anything bad in it! just the normal stuff!.

also i lost 30lbs!. and i told myself that if it was negative, then STRESS would be to blame because i had excessive stress last semester!.!.!.from work, school and people!. so know i blame stress for it and my mom thinks its an excuse because my grades really went down!.!.!.

so could it be!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Your parents are justifiably worried about the drastic weight loss, and rightfully so!. So you're not a diabetic, the blood test proved it, but your weight loss of 30 lbs in 4 months is a tough diagnosis to swallow!.!.!.do you really believe you lost 13 lbs a month just from stress!? Even if you hardly ate at all-- that would've caused you to STOP losing weight--you're parents concern is warranted!. Please make an appointment with a good internist and get a thorough evaluation!. I'm not going to give you a list of things that can be going on including the big C to scare you, but you're too young for such a dramatic loss without some underlying condition!.!.!.go to Loyola and see a good internist !.!.!.and get all the tests they order!.!.!.!.this is the rest of your life that's on the line, so take it as seriously as you did your education!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.good luck to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, if you were diagnosed diabetic, you will be diabetic forever!. Normal blood A1C and negative urine tests just mean that your diabetes is under control- in your case, the weight loss probably helped a lot- not that you're no longer diabetic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

even the best hospital can make a mistake an stress can raise your levelWww@Answer-Health@Com
