You have worries like I do!. I tend to get a bit uneased the way doctors and nurses talk to me!. But then again, I suffer from OCD & Anxiety, so I have a tendency to need reassurance and I tend to listen to certain words they used to explain themselves such as "you are okay" instead of saying "you are doing well" !. I find a big difference in those two phrases although they could mean the same thing in reality!.

She was trying to say is that so far you are HIV Negative inside the 3 months window period!. At the 3rd month, you will, then, get your true diagnosis as to whether you are HIV Negative or Positive!.

As I am told every single day (like I said, I need reassurance from people/doctors/nurses, etc) the hospital cannot lie to you about your test results!. What says on the test is what's on the test!. They won't tell you, you are HIV negative if you are really positive, they go by what the test results show up as!.

I cannot tell you to not worry because I understand your worrying, I am going thru it myself!. I just got tested for 3 months test today & deathly scared of my results!. The long wait is finally here and you just got to think on the positive side, if it is truly positive, there is help to keep you alive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is not in your health care provider's best interests to lie to you, because you can take legal action against them if they do so!.

To allay your fears the best thing to do is just call the centre again and confirm that the results are actually negative, not just "fine"!.

Having said that, they should not be disclosing results over the phone!. You could be any old Joe calling up!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She means that you are not positive at this time!. HOWEVER this also means that you may test positive on a later test, when the level of virus is high enough to register!. In the mean time, if you are sexually active, use condoms until you are given the all clear!. Don't be afraid to ask questions of your doctor and nurse practitioner!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She is obligated weather she likes it or not to tell you the true results!. Regardless of you getting a second test in three months she should have told you if the first was positive!. If you come to find out she lied than you need to contact your local medical board!. In doing so she would have caused you not to be able to get treatment in a reasonable amount of time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i'd say that your results were good, meaning you have no signs of h!.i!.v!. other wise she would've tell you!. just e careful and protect yourself from now on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well "you fine" usually means that your negative!. but u can always call back and ask some one to tell u if you were posative or negative for anything u were tested for to get a direct answer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends where you live!. Here in New York State we can not give a HIV test result over the phone!. The result has to be given face to face!.
