If you have heart pain that lasts more than 3 minutes - go to the emergency dept straight away!. Young, healthy people can still have heart attacks!. Sometimes it's caused by an enlarged septum in the heart !.I've heard of a few 24/25 year olds that have died from this!.There's another condition called haemochromatosis - caused by too much iron in the blood and it damages the heart!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You didn't mention if you experience heartburn!. Sometimes you can have acid reflux and it feel like a heart attack!. The best thing you can do is to have a complete physical and have everything checked!. You might be referred to a cardiologist if they find anything!. They can run different tests and tell you just what it is!. Also, keep some aspirin on hand!. If it starts hurting really bad take one!. My husband was hurting in his chest, I gave him one like they said on tv, and the hospital said that was good!. He ended up being diagnosed as having a heart attack!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ignore the first person's comment about the aspirin!. Aspirin does nothing to help a heart attack unless it's taken in the long term!. That is, it's a maintenance drug!. You have to take it for a year or so before you decrease your risk for a heart attack!.

Like the second poster said, if you have heart pains for too long, call an ambulance!. You don't have to do straight to the hospital, and you wouldn't want to drive in that condition anyway!. The ambulance is equiped with equipment that can check you and possibly save your life if there is something wrong that requires immediate treatment!.

Lots of people die because they passed the chest pain off as nothing serious!. It is serious and not normal!. Because it happens when you're exercising, this is a bad sign!.

You need to have an EKG for sure, at least that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
