Question: Is there a free in home test for Huntingtons Disease!?
My Father in Florida had a nurse come to his home and test him for Huntingtons Disease, he was positive!. There is a 50% chance I may have it also!.!.!.I hope not, but I want to be sure!. Is there a place in RI that would provide a free test at your home for this!? My Medicare/ Medicade wont cover the cost of paying a Specialist to do the test in my town!. Huntingtons is a disease in which the brain degenerates, and causes a nervous disorder, and normal thinking activity, and possibly death!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

How old are you!? My foster siblings have the exact same chances!. They decided to wait a while longer before they got the test cuz when the went into the dr!.s office the dr told them that if they are positive that they would find it almost impossible to get a good health insurance policy!. To at least wait til they start thinking about kids so they know the chances of passing it on or not!. The dr!. told them if they found out now that they wouldn't be able to start taking a medication til symptoms started showing anyways so they decided to wait because they knew they weren't always going to be in the medicaid/care system for insurance!. I know that this didn't really answer your question at all but my best advice about getting an in home test is call a dr!. office and see if they have any suggestions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
