Question: Is there any cure for sweating hands!? it's so irritating and embarrasing!.!?
Answers:
There absolutely is! If your hands are sweating almost constantly, or you drip, etc!.!.!.(you sound mature enough, i'm sure you can tell what's severe and what isnt) you could have something called hyperhidrosis!. It's not as scary as it sounds, it simply means you over-sweat somewhere - in your case, your hands!. I have the same thing, and I know exactly how you feel!. It's absolutely irritating and embarassing!. Alright!.!.!.so!. The first thing to do is ask a doctor or dermatologist!. If the person you go to isn't familiar with the condition, don't worry!. Find someone who is! There are plenty of people who specialize in this kind of thing (odd, huh!?) and you can even find them online if need be!.

Once you've been officially diagnosed, you can treat it a few ways!. The first step is usually something like Drysol, which is basically a roll-on antiperspirant for your hands!. For some people it's wonderful, for others (like me) it does nothing!. If that doesn't work, there are usually two choices!. One is iontophoresis (you can google it, its there, i promise) which is basically a machine that clogs your sweat glands using electricity!. You'll have to use the machine often (depends on your body!.!.!.I use it once a month, can be more or less frequent) and some people complain that it hurts!. (to me, it's unpleasant!.!.!.feels like pins and needles like when your hand falls asleep!.) It's also not always effective enough and your hands may sweat on keyboards, during hot weather, etc!.
Your other choice is botox injections!. The problem here is they're often costly and insurance immediately views them as cosmetic, so you're in an insurance fight for a while!. Also, there are 30 of them per hand, it only works for a few months, and from a friend i've heard they're really painful!. However, it's totally up to you!.

If that doesn't work, there is ETS (surgery)!. However, I'm really against it because it often causes compensatory sweating someplace else!. Frankly, i'd rather sweat on my palms than under my armpits!. I have heard that the surgery technology is improving a lot, so don't count it out - just do your research!!

And don't feel alone =) You're not the only one with this problem! www!.sweathelp!.org is a really great site with lots of information!. Good luck!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know someone who's experiencing the same thing as you!. But I guess it's quite normal for sweating!. That person I knew is drowning me in the ocean when she's really tensed or nervous!!.!.She mentioned one thing to cure it, Stay calm as soon as you can!. Hope this helps^_^Www@Answer-Health@Com
