it sounds to me that if u get sick after 1, month, 2 months of a unprotected sex exposure, then it must be HIV even if there partner tested negative!.!. ryte!?

im juss curious and trying to understand why all the worries and feeling sick after unprotected sex encounter why we immediately says its HIV!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have a big phobia about hiv, and I dont know why!. I am afraid that anyone who has many sex partners has hiv!. I think everyone should test, and know there status!! I had a very worrisom encounter 8 months ago, and utill my 6months I was devasted, I actually planned my life like I was living with Hiv, just to get a big fat negative!. I think if everyone was as scared as us, hiv would not be around as much!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not to worry you or anything but it really doesn't matter if you haven't found any symptoms yet!. You may not even realize you have it until much later!. However that test you just took is almost guaranteed to give you your answer!. Just make absolute sure you practice safe sex and that your partner has no STDs and your risk of getting it decreases!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

HIV has no symptoms for about 10 years!. When the symptoms show up, then it is called AIDS!. There are several other STD's that can wreak havoc in people's lives!. Having unprotected sex is definitely not advisable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

most people dont freak out about it that much because they know the people they sleep with before they sleep with them!.!.!.!.sounds like someone has a lot of sexual parteners :(!.!.!.Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

U R Sooooooo HOT!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

As Crystal mentioned symptoms of AIDS generally tart to show up about 10 years after infection!. Within a week or two you may get flu-like symptoms but few people associate a bit of the flu with HIV!. Because it could be almost anything causing the "flu"!.

The HIV virus takes a long time- during which you are infectious whether you know you are infected or not - to wear down your immune system to the point that it can no longer handle regular infections!. No-one technically dies of HIV or AIDS!. AIDS is really a collection of symptoms!. People die of whatever disease happens to finally overpower their immune system!.

Testing is sometimes done before the 6 month period but is not as reliable!. If you test positive at ,say, 2 months, then you are positive!. If you test negative at 2 months, you may still be positive because your body hasn't yet manufactured enough HIV antibodies to be detected in a test!.

It's a fascinating and horrible condition!. This page has a lot of info for you !.

The symtoms of HIV very from person to person!.!.!. At times its been known that people havent felt any different after getting HIV!.!.!.

BUT I have a close friend that is HIV positive and he started to get really bad fevers and night sweats at this point he didnt even think HIV could be it because it was a while 6 months since he had unproteced sex!. After getting tested he found out he was positive and had no idea who gave it to him!.

Also HIV can give you a negitive test if its too soon after you get it!.!.!.!. usally you get retested a month later to give you a true negitive reading!.

Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most of the time, HIV has no symptoms until long after infection has occurred, as other people have answered!. As a result, "No symptoms" does not necessarily mean you are uninfected!.
****HOWEVER, HAVING symptoms is NOT an indication that you are definitely infected!.
**** It is important to remember that not all symptoms of illness (including flu symptoms) after unprotected sex are indications that you are HIV+!. So your statement " it sounds to me that if u get sick after 1, month, 2 months of a unprotected sex exposure, then it must be HIV even if there partner tested negative!.!. ryte!?" is not necessarily true!.
You can NOT get HIV from someone who does not have HIV!. If your partner tested negative more than 6 months after his most recent exposure, he is NOT INFECTED, and therefore, you could not have gotten HIV from him!.

As I have told you before, and other people have told you, your extreme stress, anxiety, and focus on HIV may be making you physically ill!. You even admit that your worry about HIV is overpowering everything in your life!. The best thing for you to do at this point is to talk with your doctors and counselors about your experience and your anxiety, get retested as they recommend, and work on finding ways to relax!. That in itself will help you feel better physically!. I am not saying that your experience is an easy one to deal with!. Dealing with an experience like yours is difficult, but not impossible!.

I hope you feel better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
