Question: My Friend has pink eye, can i get it!?
we where playing outside and he's younger b/c i was babysiting him, them my bff said his eye was pink when i dont think it was before, we where playing a game and i HAD to hold his hand for 3seconds!. can i get the pink eye if he has it!? he doesnt know but he' going tomorrow!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

hmmm, ik that pink eye is contagious 24 hrs after someone first takes medicine for it!. But, even if the young boy does have it, i would say that you wouldn't get it, unless he had previously been rubbing his hand in his eye area!.
on the really small chance u get it, i think u will b ok bc u will know right away and get medication right away, so no annoying itchiness will develop etc!. (that happened for me)!. :)

You should be, no i kid!. just stay away from the pus or any contact with the eye or pus!. its not like you can get it through air but you can get it by your eye touching the pus or bacteria as long as its direct contact with it though!. It goes away though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
YES! If you go to the eye dr they can give you eye drops an it helps get rid of it!. DONT touch them or anything they tough!. they need to wash their hand everytime they touch their eyes!. Warm waashcloth works for crusties int he morning!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Pink eye is very contagious!. But once you get it,you will know and can get on the meds!. My son got it and went away and right back again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
