I always have ear drops and antibiotics(about 100 on hand all the time!.)

most of the pathogens in ear infections are susceptible to amoxicillin however it is usually given with clavulanic acid (Co-amoxiclav)!. Other options would be cephalosphorins such as Cefuroxime and Clarithromycin!. It would be best to please see your doctor first before taking the medicine since an antibiotic history (antibiotics you have taken before) would also matter in the choice of antibiotics for you!. If you are over 18 years
Use Mox+Clav twice daily!.
First day 1000 mg morning and evening (bid)
second to fifth day 625 mg morning and evening (bid)
Use cipro drops in ear!.
Concurrently take antihistamine for 5 days and a nasal de congestant nasal drops like otrivin -Xylometazoline 3 times a day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sorry but you WILL need to see your doctor!. He will need to see how bad your infection is so he knows the dosage and how many times a day you need to take it!. Its better that you go to the doctor to get a prescription than you just take them yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Amoxicillin is a strong antibiotic and can probably clear up your ear infection, but I don't know how many you should take or how often!. It might help to call a doctor or a nurse line to find out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
