Can u contract hiv by kissing an infected person?!

Question: Can u contract hiv by kissing an infected person!?
Answers:
There have been no documented cases of HIV transmitting from kissing!.

There are 4 categories of risk that an activity can be placed in!.

No Risk - no exchange of bodily fluids

Negligible Risk/Theoretical Risk/No Real Risk --
there is an exchange of body fluids and therefore a theoretical risk, but no cases have been reported where HIV has transmitted from these activities

Low Risk -- exchange of fluids, theoretical risk, and there have been some cases where HIV has transmitted from these activities

High Risk - an exchange of body fluids, theoretical risk, and the vast majority of infections have occurred from these activities

--In science, we cannot say "No" unless the answer is "no"!. That is why there is the theoretical risk/negligible risk category!. But after 25+ years of epidemiological data, we can say with as much confidence as we will ever have that NO you cannot get HIV from kissing!.

**Obviously, if someone is bleeding at the mouth (very visible quantities) there is an increased risk, though I can't imagine kissing occuring in that context!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can contract HIV through saliva, if you drank 2 GALLONS of an infected persons saliva!. You will not contract the disease unless they have open sores in there mouth, blood-to-bloo contact, unprotectedd sex, or if you're having a race on who can drink 2 gallons of the infected persons saliva faster! Go ahead and kiss them if all you have to worry about is their saliva!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. Actually, I remember the case of a famous doctor, HIV expert, who kissed one of his HIV patients in public, to show that it was safe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hiv could be contracted only by interaction of blood or to the unprotected sex so lips with wounds shud be avoided in kissing otherwise its ok!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only way you can contract HIV is if you are french kissing and both of you have open sores in your mouth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes if they have blood in there saliva and you have a cut or blister in your mouth or on your lips!. It would be extremely unlikely even if those were the circumstances!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
