Answers:
This is not HIV!. HIV has some pretty classic symptoms, and if all you have is cotton mouth then don't worry about it!. get checked again for HIV in 3 months (antibodies peak at 6 months from infection) if you are still worried about it!.
As for the dry mouth, yes antibiotics can cause it!. try to stay in a humid environment to help with problem!. Keep hydrated, stay away from caffeine! no pop, its a diuretic and makes the problem worse!. Alcohol does too!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get some hard candy and suck on it!. It should stimulate your salivary glands!. I was going to suggest gum!. I would say that the pills are giving you a dry mouth!. I think what you really need is a good friend that can stay around you and help you get to the doctor's and appointments, and doing simple daily tasks!. You are not ready to cope with day to day activities on your own yet!. You need constant support right now!. Have you been to a support group!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

call your local nurse hotline right now!
You most like'y dont have HIV, your mout is probably dry from you not drinking enough or there is a problem with your salavary glands!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its the medication, dont worry! it will only make you feel worse and crazy and paranoid!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you suffer from anxiety, that is probably what it is!. I can't even imagine what you are going through!. You really need to be on a mild sedative for the anxiety!. (That is if you're not already on them!.) There also are meds that than help with dry mouth!. They help with the saliva problem!. I wouldn't worry about the HIV, if the guy tested negative!. I guess it's easier to say than do, huh!? I don't even know you,but I will pray for you and hope that every thing works out for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

anxiety has several etiologies!.!.!.it could be anything!.
i would have your liver check for hepatitis c- many are infected and don't know it!. dry mouth, eyes and panic attacks are often seen in those with chronic hcv infection!.

since you were raped, this person could of been bleeding (even unseen to the naked eye) and he could of caused a tear in or around the vaginal area!. hcv is blood to blood only and can be spread during violent acts such as rape!.

your anxiety is more likely caused by traumatic stress syndrome which often accompanies after a crime of rape!.

if you have dry mouth they make a mouth wash that lubricates it, therefore your less likely to feel uncomfortable!.

read up on HCV infection!. try not to worry, just throwing the possibilty out there!.

hugs and good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
