Question: Recovered alcoholics: who/what made you take notice!?
To anyone who has recovered from alcoholism, was there anything in particular that made you admit you had a problem or anything someone said that inspired you to get help!. I'm watching a friend on a path to self destruct and its breaking my heart!.

I am speaking from personal experience!. I was never a fullblooded alcoholc!. But I was an alcoholic!. And what made me quit, was I noticed myself doing things which I would never do sober, caught a few STD
