104 is not a really high reading, but the recommendations now for a non- diabetic are below 99 when fasting!. I know it only seems like a slight difference, but I've diagnosed many diabetic patients by doing the 2 hour glucose tolerance test when there fasting sugar was between 100- 110!. The only way to really be for sure is to have your Physician order a 2 hour hour glucose test!. During that test you will drink a really sweet drink full of sugar and will then have your blood drawn 1 hour later to see how well your body handles the sugar!. Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com
