Question: X-Ray Help! Was not shielded!!!!?
I had 4 chest x-rays 2 days ago, and the radiologist tech did not shield me!. I asked her if she could shield my pelvic part, and she said that since it was my chest that was getting x-rayed I did not have to worry about it!. Well, yeah!. I'm totally freaking out and are worried!. Would the radiation, or whatever I was exposed to, mess with my eggs!? I want to have children one day!.!.!.would everything be okay!? (in other words, the radiation that I was exposed to, was it a high amount and is it detrimental!?) I don't know!.!.!.!.kinda worried!. PLEASE HELP!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The typical chest X ray is only about 6 mrems, according to the first link below (see the 2nd paragraph there)
And the typical person gets about 100-150 mrems per year from natural sources - the sun, cosmic rays, the rocks around them!.
And the machine was focused on your chest - NOT your pelvis!.
I'm no expert, but I'd say your eggs are still safe!. You probably got no more dosage than you would over the summer laying out in the sun!. If it still bugs you, then don't lay out in the sun over the summer, and you'll average out to about normal, and you'll reduce your chances of skin cancer, too!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I understand your cause for concern, but I don't think that one time would mess up your chances of fertility!. If you're worried about the radiation itself, take some high antioxidant supplements and eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, and that will help to counter any type of imbalance caused by the radiation exposure!. A few good herbs/supplements to take are Ago Ase', ginseng & astragalus roots, black seed oil, and Acai-Max!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Even simple xrays of the teeth by your dentist, they cover your entire front with a lead apron!. Your technician was wrong to withhold your shield!. I would not wait longer to go into the lab and speak to whoever is in charge of that woman!. Express your concerns well because they know you could go to court with this!. That's why you should go quickly so
