The HPV shot is a three-part shot!. The second shot is given two months after the first, and the third six months after the first!. It protects you from strains of HPV that cause 70% of cervical cancer-causing viruses, as well as some forms of herpes!. It's well worth the anxiety over a shot, and yes your arm does hurt for a day like with a tetanus or flu shot, and you'd do a lot more crying if you had herpes, HPV, or CANCER!

Suck it up, and save yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The vaccine is nothing to be terrified of!. It's a shot in your arm!. Want something to be terrified of!? How about cervical cancer!? I had it when I was 22!. First they tried to laser it off!. I was conscious for that procedure!. It was excruciatingly painful!. That didn't work so they had to cut a cone-shaped section out of my cervix under general anesthesia!. I woke up from that surgery screaming and crying for my mommy because I was in so much agony and terrified!.

Get the shot!. It's really not a big deal!. The doctor might even give you a lollipop after!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm kind of a wuss about getting shots as well!. It only stings for a little bit, so you just need to take your mind off it during those couple of seconds!. I always chew gum, never look at the needle, and usually try to think of someone just pinching me or something!. Remember to take deep breaths and remind yourself that when it's over with you're going to wonder why you were so nervous about it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Are you talking about the HPV shot!? It doesn't hurt!. It takes just a few minutes!.

Think of the difference!. You can get a shot now, or have higher chances of cervical cancer, which I would assume would hurt more than just a few minutes like the shot!.

Hmmm!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i am terrifed of injections too!.!. u know when they insert the syringe in my vein !.!.!. i look away !.!.!. its nothing !.!.!. just a light pinch !.!.!. JUST DONT WATCH !.!.!. LOOK away and u know wht i did was !.!.!. while he was injecting me !.!.!. i started talking to my mom !.!. and it was like a distraction from the 2 second pain !.!.!. trust me !.!.!. an ant bite hurts more than an injection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I won't lie its a pretty bug needle all you have to do s ask them to do it fast i have a horrible phobia of needles and this shot was probably the easiest I have ever had and you need threeWww@Answer-Health@Com

is it that one less thing!?
not to scare you, but apparently, those are really painful and they have made a lot of people really sick!.
have your parents write a note or somethingWww@Answer-Health@Com

It is no big deal at all!. It is really weird because the third one sort of hurts but for not long!. Just go ahead and get it over with!. I would rather have 3 shots than cancer!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

is it a required shot!.!.you MUST have it or they won't let you register!?!?!? If not have your parent write a letter for the school telling them NO!.!.!. If it is a requirement the only way I know out of it is either 1!. a letter from your doctor stating the side effects are unacceptable (have parent say this too in theirs) and it is unsafe!. 2!. for religious purposes you can not recv!. the shot!.
I know in Texas they tried to make it a requirement but because of there are not enough "studies" showing how safe it is in the long run "we the people" voted it down!.
I think it's a great idea but it's not been given out long enough to see what the residual effects will be in the long term!.
I'm all for it if it's SAFE!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
